- Functional Safety Engineering for e-mobility (like Electric Drive Unit (EDU) for core and customer, VCU, transmissions etc.) application projects

- Analysis and evaluation of safety critical systems and functions based on state-of-the-art methods (HARA, FTA, FMEA, DFA, SA, FMEDA)
- Bsc/Msc in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer engineering or a comparable educational background
- Preferably of 3 years’ demonstrable experience in an automotive or similar engineering environment, with a focus on delivery functionally safe software.
- Excellent knowledge in the technical implementation of functional safety (according to ISO26262 or IEC61508)
- Good English skills are required, spoken and written
Advantages:
- Working understanding of automotive HV standards; design methodologies and working practices.
- Proven experience of working on automotive e-powertrain systems (such as motors; inverters; batteries/energy storage; power electronics) and understanding their interfaces and integration into the vehicle.
- Confident at reading vehicle wiring diagrams, and understanding component electrical interfaces, e.g. Device Transmittals; External World Diagrams.
- German and/or Hungarian languages knowledge
